Welcome!

Welcome to the Junior Karting World Championships website. Here you’ll find everything you need to know about the event. There will be frequent updates to the site, so please check back often for up-to-date information.

The Junior Karting World Championships was created to fill a void in top-level competition for the often overlooked 5-12 year-old age group. Junior, Senior, and Masters competitors all have world championship races. Now, Kid Karters and Cadets around the world have the opportunity for their own prize fight races on Saturday, August 21, 2010.

The Las Vegas Kart Club is inviting young racers from around the globe to descend on “Sin City” in August for a “rumble on the concrete jungle.” Classes contested for Kid Karts will be Comer C51, Comer C51 Restricted, and Comer C50 Old-Syle. The Cadets have the opportunity to race Rotax Mini Max, IKF KPV1, and Rotax Micro Max classes.

The event begins on the evening of Wednesday, August 18 with a full slate of official practice. Thursday, August 19 will be another day of official practice. Qualifying and Last Chance Qualifiers will culminate the events of Friday, August 20. World Champions in the six classes will be crowned under the stars on Saturday, August 21.

Pre-registration is now open! Click here to go to the Registration Page. There are only 36 slots available in each class. A racer may enter as many classes as they are eligible for in Kid Kart or Cadet classes (can’t race both Rotax Mini Max and Rotax Micro Max). Each class entered will require a full kart. The practice grid line-up will be determined by order of registration – so register early to insure an early slot on the track.
